DIAMOND RADIATION DETECTORS

OVERVIEW

A design that enables applications requiring a rugged and radiation-hardened detector. Only simple circuitry and low DC forward bias voltage are needed to measure the signal. Our products have multiple advantages over silicon-based units.

 

 

APPLICATIONS

Atomic Energy Canada Limited used our detector to measure the dose delivered by a 12 MeV electron accelerator. Sandia National Labs uses our detector for effect simulation. And time-resolved measurements of Saturn and Z's soft x-ray fluence from z-pinch plasma radiation were obtained with our detectors.

 

Applications also include intensity measurements of synchrotron x-ray emissions, and successful use as charged particle and energetic neutron detection and counting.

 

 

MULTIPLE PRODUCTS

Our Diamond Radiation Detectors are shipped in a number of form factors. These include SMA barrel-mounted detectors, as well as SMA bremsstrahlung detectors. We can also build detectors in custom mounts and sizes.
